Why arts / our vision

A community where creativity is part of everyday life

We’re forming a community-led, nonprofit arts council to support local artists, invite visitors, and bring people together across generations. Together we’ll champion literary, performing, and visual arts with programs that fit Orofino’s character.

Support Artists

Micro-grants, residencies, and paid gigs that help local artists create and share more work right here at home.

Bring People Together

Events & festivals

Art strolls, gallery nights, film and music series, and a signature annual festival that celebrates Orofino.

Grow the Next Gen

Youth & schools

Artist visits, workshops, and student showcases that give kids hands-on experiences in the arts.
